You can't choose your family but you can choose your friends, I'm happy to have a friends like them.

April 21, 2010

After Beud, we headed to our next destination in Baguio where Cy's mom was waiting for us., but before anything else we decided to dropped by Manaoag church since we will pass through the place before reaching Baguio.

lit a candle and pray
As we stepped out the church, we felt the urge to hurry-up to catch our trip to Baguio or else we will be left for the last trip, and so we hurriedly proceeded to the terminal where we can have the ride going to Baguio. the van cost us P150 per way if I'm not mistaken.

Pawis-pawsan na
after an hour and a half we arrived in the terminal in Baguio, it's around 7 or 8 in the evening, tita Cynthia (Cy's Mom) fetch us in the terminal and proceeded to her staff's house in Loakan, another 30 minutes ride from the terminal going to the house.

April 22, 2010

As we woke up we ate breakfast afterwhich we stroll outside as Vern and his boyfriend had a date then, so the three of us Jordie, Cy and I  walked and felt by heart the cool breeze of Baguio in the morning (sabi nila magjojogging daw kami eh d naman kami pinapawisan bwahahaha).

While walking we passed by the Camp John Hay's Cemetery where a total of 491 Philippine Scouts, US Nationals and Civilian employees of camp john hay and members of their families were buried. they've died for the freedom of the Philippines.

After lunch we went to the town to explore different places in Baguio, places that were usually been visited by the tourist like us! :)

First we went to Burnham Park.
sasakay din kami jan!
We tried the winnie the pooh boat, we rode and paddled around.
After the boat ride we've gone to the Mansion.

malapit na kami sa katotohanan!
ayan overlooking na ang the Mansion!
Andito na kami!
The bitches' in the Mansion!
After photo op, we headed to the Mines' View park, from the Mansion we need to rode a jeepney going to the park but according to the guard on duty in the Mansion when we asked him how far and how long it will take from the Mansion to the Mines' view he said with conviction "malapit lang" we've asked "pwede po ba namin lakarin?" he said "Oo". and so we walked...
pagod na ko ang layo!
Mind you, iba ang malapit ng mga taga Baguio, we walked almost half an hour but still Mines view park isnt noticeable yet and so we continuously and patiently walked.
ayan na siya!
at long last, were now in the Mines View Park the park was filled by many tourist visiting the place and so we get in and start to took photos and stroll around.

We will meet tita Cynthia in SM Baguio so we headed straight to the place after mines view., It almost dark when we reached the place so we walked a bit and proceeded in 50's Diner for Dinner.

This ends our trip to Baguio and get back to Manila the next morning. Thanks Bitches! Our 5 days trip from Manila to Pangasinan to Baguio cost me P1500 all in with the pasalubong!hihi, I didn't exceed in our allotted budget which is P1500 each and so as them.
